The two smartest men on the planet.
Just one of those posts you can’t not reblog.
every time i see this i’m just like “why didn’t they just say ‘happy?’”
I love passionate people
that light that enters their eyes when they start talking about something they love
the little arm gestures they make
the massive smile that slips onto their face when they realise someone’s listening
I just love passionate, enthusiastic people and I wish more people would be like that
“Nobody says anything about that.”
I’ve reblogged this about 40 times. But let me do it again.
His autopsy reports did show that his skin colour was changed by the condition, not artificially.
I love Michael Jackson. Judge all you want.
It fucking kills when people to this day still say he bleached his skin so he wouldn’t be black anymore. No. He suffered from vitiligo, a condition that steadily reduces melanin in your skin until you’re esentially white. It’s not treatable and there really is no cure. And it just. Ugh.
I wish you could un-delete a tweet because I freaked out and deleted something that I tweeted to someone and now I wish I hadn’t :/
I wish I had an accurate magic 8 ball that also listened to me and helped me work through all of these confusing thoughts.
I honestly think a lot of who I am today was planted into my brain as I watched Gilmore Girls over the years. Then I’ll go back and watch an old episode and be like whoa, when I was a kid I had no idea…now they’re talking about my favorite musicians and books and authors and I actually understand these jokes.
How much of it did I really come across on my own? Maybe my subconscious has known for years because of the show…
I started writing at a really young age. And I don’t mean writing like oh I wrote ‘cat’ ‘dog’ etc at a young age (although I did), I mean I started writing novels before I was out of middle school.
But I’m also an incredible private person, and I never want to “sell someone out”, so I refrain from publishing personal stories, especially those involving other people. But I feel like at some point I’m going to need to break that barrier.
What do you guys think?
I never want to be that person…for years now I’ve been so afraid of stepping over that fine, fine line into dangerous writer territory. I don’t want people to be afraid of being open with me because they don’t want me to write about it and expose it to the world.
How far is too far?
Anonymous asked: whats the weirdest compliment youve gotten.
Someone told me I looked and acted like what they imagine John Lennon and Bob Dylan’s lovechild would be like.
I think it was meant as a compliment. Either way, it was pretty weird.
Anonymous asked: I really like this guy. he's a musician but he's not famous or anything but he does small tours and i'm going to see him soon. do you have any advice for me? i really want to get him to notice me but i'm soooo nervous
This sounds cliche: but be yourself, seriously. Also, first and foremost realize that there are some guys out there who will grab the “easy” girl. You do not want to be the easy girl if you want to get to know him. Go to the show, have a great time, try to make eye contact. Don’t gush over him after. Tell him you really enjoyed it, ask questions about his music if you want to. If you know a little about him and you have the same musical tastes, bring up one of those artists. But DON’T make yourself look like a stalker. Don’t be a stalker. Don’t fawn over him. Musicians are just people, and no one wants to have someone being creepy, right? Overall just have fun!! Try not to sweat it if it doesn’t work out quite the way you want it to. Good luck!
I need more inexpensive clothing stores.
My five-year-old niece just called to tell me she got her ears pierced.
She’s so cute. I can’t.
I need to go buy earrings for her gnkdgndgjbk!
A lot of people have been asking me for advice lately.
I’ve always been a listener and I always want to help.
So, dear followers, if anyone else would like to ask me anything, please feel free.
birth-of-a-hero asked: We were all born at the wrong time my dear. That is what the present is. It's a little unsatisfying because life's unsatisfying.
Such truth. I try each day to make the present a little brighter.
Anonymous asked: what do u do for a living? how do u meet people like may pang?
I do quite a lot of things - I’ve done quite a few writing stints, just started working as a project manager, producer, some marketing work, etc. I aspire to be a Jane of all Trades.
As far as meeting people…I honestly couldn’t explain how things happen in my life if I tried.
